Poster Studies.

A self-initiated, ongoing series of single-page Photoshop posters that treats each design as its own self-contained concept brief. The set is intentionally varied: anime character cards (Levi Ackerman, Muichiro Tokito), athlete tributes (Lionel Messi, Ricardo Kaká), an editorial summer piece, a surreal collage titled "Deserts", and a chromatic-aberration text experiment titled "Burning". The point is range — practicing how the same compositional muscles read differently across genres.

Working in one fixed format (one page, print resolution) is a deliberate constraint. It removes layout-decision overhead, leaves only colour, composition, and post-processing to think about, and forces the design to live or die on a single read. Across the series, the practice rotates compositional approaches — rule-of-thirds editorial, symmetrical portrait card, off-axis collage — colour treatments — warm vintage, glitched cool, monochrome with one accent — type pairings — heavy display + serif body, hand-lettered + grotesque — and post-processing techniques: chromatic aberration, halftone, noise, distressed paper textures, and displacement maps.

Each poster ships at standard print resolution — A2 at 300dpi by default — so anything in the series could be sent to a printer without redrawing. Treating self-initiated work as production-ready, not as sketches, raises the standard on every detail: type kerning, image edges, colour space, and file structure. That discipline transfers directly to client work, even when the brief is loose and the deliverable is just a single deck slide.

The series is intentionally open-ended. Adding the next poster does not require finishing the previous direction; the only rule is that every new piece has to teach something the previous ones did not. It is the closest thing to a sketchbook practice that still ships finished, framable work.
